Finished commissioned piece for @catshmacc !! It was such a pleasure doing this piece, thank you! ♥️
Step by step [here]
Papa is here to save you.
I declare this piece finished, not that I think it is, but I’m at the stage of endless rework and if I don’t force myself to stop I’ll be working overtime.
I hope you like this artwork, I put my heart into it.

Image 1 : Landscape illustration, showing Papa Emeritus IV standing on a rock overlooking an enthusiastic crowd on a cloudy sky background in a classical painting style, cottony pink cloud on the right and hell red swirl on the left where Copia is.
The rock and Copia are on the left, while the crowd is all around.
Papa is wearing his black and gold papal robe, the flaps and cape of which are fluttering in the wind. He is also wearing his cornette headdress and the gold embroidered scarf with skulls.
He also has demon wings widely spread on his back. The wings are dark reddish brown, and the skin is ripped in some places.
Copia is leaning forward slightly, holding a golden sceptre with the new Grucifix design in his right hand. His left hand is extended to the crowd below, in invitation.
The crowd, which I have tried to make varied, is made up of men and women dressed in togas, sometimes with Grucifix brooches. Almost all of them seem very excited about Papa’s presence, as if the saviour himself.
Image 2 :
the full Copia close up frame, it shows the details of the wing folds, the rips in the trousers, the embroidery on the scarf in a better quality than the previous image.

This is what we call being ciriced.

It’s the same image but in monochrome on the old paper texture that I used to put on almost all my art.
